Mike is a fifth generation Oregonian. His ancestors settled in the Rogue valley in the 1850's but he grew up in the rain on the Oregon coast in Coos Bay.
After graduating from Lewis and Clark College his adventures started when he worked on the Trans-Alaska pipeline in Valdez, AK. He continued his adventures by travelling to New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and the Far East.
His first "real" job started with Electro Scientific Industries (ESI) where he worked with teams who wrote programs for computer controlled lasers used in the manufacturing of semiconductors. That adventure lasted over 30 years.
He has learned new skills as a Web Developer. His programming experience with ESI will enhance the websites he develops.
